My story
From holland to brazil
In 2025 I made a big change and moved from the Netherlands to Brazil. Starting over in a new country has been an exciting journey of discovering a new culture, a new way of life, and, in many ways, a new version of myself. I’ve been a hairdresser since 2020, but my journey into hairdressing started later in life. Because I knew I had a lot to learn, I was determined to make up for lost time. I spent months working day and night as an intern, learning as much as I could and pushing myself every day. Within a year, I had worked my way up to becoming a Master Stylist.
For the past couple years, I’ve worked as a self-employed hairdresser, building my own way of working and creating genuine connections with my clients. Now, here in Brazil, I’m finding my place again and bringing everything I’ve learned with me while staying open to everything this new chapter has to teach me.
Being a hairdresser is never about simply knowing enough. I love learning, training, experimenting, and constantly finding ways to become better at what I do. Trends, techniques, products, and ideas are always evolving, and I want my work to evolve with them. I also have a strong love for culture and music, and I find a lot of inspiration in the world around me. I enjoy taking what I see and experience and translating that inspiration into my craft, from new trends and different cultures to music, fashion, and everyday life.
My Dutch background, my experience, and my new life in Brazil have given me a perspective that is uniquely my own. I’m still discovering where this journey will take me, but one thing remains the same: I’m passionate about hair, curious about the world, and always looking for the next way to grow.
